PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN – TRACK 2 (PRESS OPERATOR)

Summary 

The press area sets up and operates various stamping power presses to produce metal products by blanking, forming, piercing and cutting off parts from coiled stainless steel.  In addition, good measuring skills are required (calipers, micrometers, etc).

Summary 

Metal finishing is a skilled art utilizing various belts, grinders, sand blasters and other equipment to remove metal burrs, blend out welds and polish finished products creating high-quality stainless-steel products.  This position is fast paced and requires high attention to detail.
