Choosing the right can opener for your needs is based on the maximum number of cans you open per day, not your average. Manual can openers are used for lower volumes, electric can openers for mid-range, and for heavy volume see the Crown Punches.

Please Note:

  • Use the right can opener for the right job!
  • Exceeding limits can cause premature wear.
  • Regular cleaning will prolong unit life. Use the ST-93 cleaning tool.
  • Inspect and change knives and gears regularly. Knives and gears should last 2500-5000 cans depending on usage (type of cans being opened)
  • Manual opener knives are reversible (except #8).
  • DO NOT SHARPEN KNIVES OR CROWN PUNCH BLADES. Edges are intentionally dull to prevent metal slivers. Re-conditioning is available through the factory.
  • Edlund recommends purchasing a second set of blades with each crown punch.
